Further more Transglobal Cargo has formed parternship with more reliable and reputable partners in Africa (ALN – African Logistics Network) which allow us direct and on-hands control of all good destined into Africa.)
ALN is a network formed to give network partners, reach into Africa.
It has base members in Africa, with other members being outside of Africa, as the trade is not limited only to Africa – Africa trade. The network also has a vetting process, thus ensuring that members have a proven track record.
Every year, network members all meet in one location, to discuss country to country issues, shipment matters and customer success stories. Transglobal Cargo, being a part of the network, is able to offer our clients, a great reach into Africa, through our partners on ALN.
Corporate Social Investment
Giving Back to The Community
The company’s philosophy is to plough back into society, assisting in the upliftment of those less privileged in order that they might achieve their true potential.
In its formative years, Transglobal involved itself with an organisation to establish ‘Children with a Purpose’. The primary objective of this initiative was to give ‘Street Children’ a second chance in life. This organisation is now self-funded and has been handed over to a Church organisation to fully manage and maintain.
‘Habitat for Humanity’ is another project in which Transglobal partnered in order to build homes for the disadvantaged. This has not only given dignity to those receiving the homes, but has given the company and its staff fulfillment and a purpose in life. Members of staff are continuously encouraged to participate in various company initiatives, as well as becoming more aware of the need to give to the less fortunate.
Currently the company commits a spend of 5% of net profit towards it social upliftment program. A committee formed and chaired by staff ensures that the management fulfils this commitment.
